(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:The extrusive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Hot avalanches continues to fall from the lava flows fronts on the lava dome. Activity of the volcano increased from 16:30 UTC on 16 May: ash clouds rose up to 6.5 km a.s.l., and a big cloud continues to slowly move southeast from the volcano.

The extrusive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 15 km (49,200 ft) a.s.l. could occur during three days. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
