| (11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | The explosive-extrusive eruption of the volcano continues, accompanied by powerful gas-steam activity; a new block of lava continues to grow in the northern part of the lava dome. No new ash explosions have been observing on the volcano at now, but at 01:50 UTC on 04 July an ash cloud 80x55 km in size was located 195 km to the northwest of the volcano (from ash explosions up to 10.5 km a.s.l. at 20:05 UTC on 03 July). The ash clouds from ash explosions up to 11 km a.s.l. at 08:54 UTC on 02 July continues to observing on satellite images. The edge of a northern part of ash cloud was 385 km (azm 328) of the volcano, and the edge of a southern part of ash cloud was 984 km (azm 162) of the volcano at 01:50 UTC on 04 July. The explosive-extrusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 12 km (39,400 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft. |
