The explosions sent ash up to 3.5 km a.s.l., and an ash plume is extending for 77 km to the east-southeast of the volcano. The explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. The danger of ash explosions up to 6 km (19,700 ft) a.s.l. remains. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft. |
